Carpinus betulus ‘JFS-KW1CB’ PP 22814
Emerald Avenue® European Hornbeam
Here is a new gift horse in the stable of Carpinus. The species has been favored for centuries for hedging, topiaries and shade trees. Now Keith Warren and J. Frank Schmidt & Sons have introduced Emerald Avenue®, chosen for upward branching and crisp foliage. Compared to other Carpinus varieties we grow, Emerald Avenue® has strong branch angles and sturdy, erect twigs.
