Weeping European Hornbeam
One of the favorite weeping trees of visitors to our farm. The athletic bark typical of Carpinus flexes its muscles on the main trunk and on the weeping branches. Weeping regularly on all sides, this forms a large weeping tree, capable of casting a cool spot of shade on small buildings and paved areas. One adds a lot to a garden setting, yet many can march along a sidewalk or parking lot in an urban setting with uniform, pleasing impact.
