New for Fall 2025…This multi-stem Trident maple is sure to impress, with its strong upright growth habit Inverness™️ Trident Maple is more narrow than typical of the species. This cultivar stands out for its striking, continual flushes of bright red new growth throughout the summer, creating dynamic seasonal interest. As the leaves mature, they transition from deep purplish-green to a rich, dark green, contrasting noticeably with the lighter green foliage typical of standard Trident Maples. Branching is even and uniform, forming a full, well-balanced crown that matures into a conical to oval shape, rather than the usual rounded form. Typical of the species, Inverness™️ will be a tough urban tree that can handle drought, heat, compact soils and a range of soil pH.
