Foster Holly #2 (Ilex x attenuata Fosteri) has handsome dark evergreen foliage, nice red fruit, and tough constitution. It can be used alone or in groups/masses to screen and define. It hedges well and can be pruned several times a year . . . or just let it alone to do its own thing. Naturally grows as a compact pyramidal tree in the North; in the South, it will develop a fluffy, soft outline if left unpruned.

These trees are single-stemmed standards (std); limbed up 5 feet for a small evergreen tree effect. We also offer a full to the ground (ftg) and multi-stemmed (multi) form.
