A Bold Spring Nursery original with 'cubed' tops for aerial hedging and other sculptured landscapes. We have had so many clients select Cornerstone for an aerial hedge that we decided to help them speed up the process and start the hedge-works here in the nursery. With an eye-catching shape and handsome dark green leaves, this Carpinus will add value to any landscape. The parent tree was originally grown from seed collected by the National Arboretum. The final selection was made by renowned researcher, Will Corley in Middle Georgia and it exhibits the best heat tolerance of the species. Carpinus betulus Cornerstone is another NEW introduction, exclusive to Bold Spring Nursery.
